How does Admission number settings help?
1. If no settings are done, by default system will generate the admission no as per the academic year running serial no irrespective of all classes
For ex: for the academic year 2018-19, admission nos will be as follows
1/2018(grade1),2/2018(grade8),3/2018(grade1),4/2018(grade2) and so on
For the academic year 2019-20, the admission nos will be as follows
1/2019(grade1),2/2019(grade8),3/2019(grade1),4/2019(grade2) and so on
2. If prefix given as per class category, and not selected academic year prefix.
The admissions nos will be the running serial nos as per class category prefix and will be continued the same sequence for all the academic years.
For ex: pre-primary prefix: MON, secondary prefix: SENIOR
For 2018-19, the admission nos for pre-primary and secondary will be as follows
MON/00001,MON/00002,SENIOR/00001,SENIOR/00002
For 2019-20, the admission nos for pre-primary and secondary will be as follows
MON/00003, MON/00004, SENIOR/00003, SENIOR/00004
3. If a prefix is given as per class category and selected academic year prefix.
The admissions nos will be the running serial nos as per class category prefix and academic year wise.
For ex: pre-primary prefix: MON, secondary prefix: SENIOR
For 2018-19, the admission nos for pre-primary and secondary will be as follows
2018-19/MON/001,2018-19/MON/002,2018-19/SENIOR/001,2018-19/SENIOR/002
For 2019-20, the admission nos for pre-primary and secondary will be as follows
2019-20/MON/001,2019-20/MON/002,2019-20/SENIOR/001,2019-20/SENIOR/002
